How to connect or disconnect a sports app?

To add your activities to our app, you can connect one of the compatible apps. (If you do not have a sports app, please refer to this article, and if you have an app that in not compatible with our system, please see this section)

Connect your sports app

  • 1️⃣ Open the app, and go to Settings ⚙️, and click on Connected app(s) AppsEN.PNG

    2️⃣ Select the desired app and click on its logo.

    Then, follow the steps to link your account and give the sharing permissions so your activities can sync ✅

  • Go to your Dashboard > then Manage my apps (click on the menu next to your profile picture). Select the desired app and follow the steps to link your account and give the sharing permissions so your activities can sync.

💡Make sure you are filling in the correct account. Your sport app may be properly connected, but if this is not the correct account, the activities won't sync... To know more about this, How can I be sure that my tracker is properly connected?

✅ Your next activities, recorded on your sports app, will be automatically synced to our app .


How to disconnect and then reconnect my sports app?

You may need to disconnect (and then reconnect) your sports app to your Sport Heroes account to update the connection between your sports app and our system. This sometimes happens randomly, or when your application has been connected for a while ... and we don't always have the technical details.

  • 1️⃣ Open the app, and go to Settings ⚙️, and click on Connected app(s) AppsEN.PNG

    2️⃣ Select the desired app and click on its logo.

    Let's make an example here with Google Fit 👇🏻

    3️⃣ Then, select Unlink disconnectEN.PNG

    4️⃣ Finally, follow the steps above ☝🏻 to connect your sport app as if it was the first time and follow the different steps 🙂

    Your sports app has been re-connected! Your activities should be added your profile ✨


Enable the tracking of your daily steps thanks to the pedometer of your smartphone

Tracking your daily steps is only available on some of our mobile apps blobid11.png blobid0.png blobid1.png mceclip1.pngblobid14.png blobid0.png512.png) Here are the processes to follow to enable the tracking of your daily steps thanks to the pedometer of your  smartphone (it is possible to track your steps with one of the compatible apps present above (Google Fit, Garmin, Fitbit,...)

🍏 Daily Steps on iPhone with Apple Health 

⚠️ It is only possible to connect Apple Health to Sport Heroes mobile apps.

    1. First, check that you have the latest version of the app on the App Store.
    2. You can either use a compatible app (Google Fit, Garmin, ...) OR open the Apple Health app
    3. Click on your profile in the top right corner > select Apps
    4. Click on the desired app (blobid0.pngblobid1.pngblobid11.pngmceclip1.pngblobid14.pngblobid0.png512.png...) to allow our app to sync your steps, activities, ...

    You've enabled the tracking of your daily steps on your iPhone! ✨ You only need to regularly refresh your Dashboard by dragging it towards the bottom of the app.

    👉🏻 Special case: if you join a Sport Heroes experience that has a mobile app version (blobid0.pngblobid1.pngblobid11.pngblobid14.pngmceclip0.pngmceclip0.png) you can connect Apple Health. Your Apple Health app will automatically sync your activities thanks to your Sport Heroes account linked to all experiences whether they have a mobile version or not.
    👉🏻 But: you need to use the same Sport Heroes account


🤖 Daily steps on Android

    • First, ensure you have the latest version of the application from the Play Store.
    • Next, three possibilities:
      1. Use the Google Fit app. In this case, download the Google Fit app and follow the steps ☝🏻 "Connect your sports app"
      2. OR Use the Samsung Health app. In this case, download the relevant application and follow the steps👇🏻 
        • Locate and click the Connect to Samsung Heath option.

          Make sure you already have a Samsung Health account, otherwise, the error here will appear.

          In this case, you need to create an account on Samsung Health, and accept all options.

          Once your Samsung Health account is created, and activated, click on Connect and give All permissions to the United Heroes app

           

          You've successfully connected the Samsung Health app

          Simply update your Dashboard by pulling down on the screen.

      3. OR Activate the Track your Daily Steps options to link the pedometer of your smartphone. Follow the steps below👇🏻 
        • Locate and click the Track your Daily Steps option.
          To enable the pedometer of your Android smartphone, you need to link a Google account Steps_2_EN.PNG

          You've enabled the Tracking your Daily Steps ✅

          Simply update your Dashboard by pulling down on the screen.

          💡 This is your smartphone's pedometer which directly indicates to our app the number of steps of your day, which may be different from those measured by another app or by a smartwatch ⌚️
